Warm Audio Launches Dirty Boy Jr. Series With Authentic Boutique Circuits

Developed in partnership with Dirty Boy Pedals, the new “Junior” Series brings the original Dirty Boy Booster, Preamp/Overdrive, and Fuzz circuits to players worldwide in compact, pedalboard-friendly formats.

Austin, TX – July 21, 2026 - Warm Audio, the leading manufacturer of faithful recreations of legendary recording gear and guitar pedals, is proud to announce the Dirty Boy Jr. Series, a new collection of guitar pedals featuring authentic circuits from boutique builder Dirty Boy Pedals. Developed in partnership with owner Danny Gomez, the Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive, an all-analog amp simulator, preamp and overdrive; the Dirty Boy Jr. Booster, a touch-sensitive clean-to-mean boost; and the Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz, a modified vintage-style fuzz with a six-position frequency control, bring authentic Dirty Boy tone to a broader audience while preserving the character of the original boutique designs. All Dirty Boy Jr. pedals are available worldwide at authorized retailers for MSRP $169 | 189 € inc. VAT | 169 £ inc. VAT starting July 21st.

What began as custom pedal builds by Alex Saraceno for his son, Blues Saraceno (former lead guitarist for Poison), evolved into one of boutique guitar gear's best-kept secrets. Known for distinctive analog designs and uncompromising tone, Dirty Boy earned a devoted following among players including Linkin Park, John Frusciante, Neal Schon, Tom DeLonge, Phil X, Tim Pierce, Justin Derrico, Mark Lettieri, and (obviously) Blues Saraceno.

"For me, choosing the right partner was everything because these circuits have a history and personality that I wasn't willing to compromise," said Danny Gomez, owner of Dirty Boy Pedals. "Warm Audio understands how to build authentic circuits the right way. They know that quality components, careful manufacturing, and thorough testing all play a critical role in preserving the character of the original design. Just as importantly, every pedal is individually hand-tested before it ever reaches a player. That level of quality control and accountability is very similar to what we do at Dirty Boy.”

Gomez continues, “We're still building our boutique pedals by hand, and those aren't going anywhere, but the Jr. Series allowed us to faithfully recreate these Dirty Boy circuits in a format that more players can experience. The goal was to preserve the tone, response, and personality of the hand-built originals, and Warm Audio is the partner we trust to help us do that without compromise.”

Working closely with Warm Audio, Dirty Boy carefully guided the adaptation of three of its most celebrated pedal designs for wider production while preserving the tone, feel, and character that made the originals boutique favorites. The result is a collection of pedals that faithfully captures the sonic behavior, dynamic response, and analog character of the original hand-built designs while making them accessible to a broader audience.

The Dirty Boy Jr. Series includes three authentic circuits:

Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive — Based on the original Dirty Boy Preamp, combining boutique overdrive, preamp functionality, and all-analog amp simulation powered by proprietary T.A.E. technology. Features preamp out, speaker-emulated output and a Variac control for tube-style sag, compression, and dynamic breakup.

Dirty Boy Jr. Booster— Featuring the original Dirty Boy Ball Buster circuit, delivering everything from transparent clean boost to saturated British-style breakup with up to 10dB of gain, dedicated Treble and Bass controls, and a three-position H-M-L Frequency switch.

Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz — Built around the original Dirty Boy Afro Fuzz circuit, delivering rich sustain, harmonic saturation, dynamic cleanup, and the signature six-position Frequency selector that helped define the original hand-built pedal.

All three pedals feature premium all-analog circuitry, true bypass operation, authentic Dirty Boy styling, and are hand-tested by Warm Audio technicians in Austin, Texas.

The Dirty Boy Jr. Series is available worldwide with an MSRP of $169 | 189 € inc.VAT | 169 £ inc. VAT per pedal.
